  1. I’ve been using Tinder for the last couple of weeks and have had much success. It’s true that it’s pretty shallow… you look at someone’s picture for approximately .251 seconds before deciding whether to ‘like’ them or not.

    So why can’t people figure out how to leverage it properly?. Examples: Why people keep putting group photos as their primary photo is beyond me. And as the Atlantic article says, kids is an automatic swipe left (no). Pics with another girl in it… no. Baseball hats, no… because that tells me they’re balding, which might be OK but they feel insecure about it, which isn’t. On and on. How about a nice pic in a suit? Or doing something interesting like playing an instrument or traveling?

    Anyway, it’s dumb fun, and I recommend it (in moderation).
